HEAD OF GROWTH & MARKETING

HEAD OF GROWTH & MARKETING
Omnichannel Retail & Live Commerce

We are looking for a commercially driven and hands-on Head of Growth & Marketing to lead KCA’s next phase of growth across digital, ecommerce, live commerce and physical retail.

This is a senior PLAYER-COACH role — not a strategy-only position.

You will be expected to identify growth opportunities, build the strategy, lead execution, analyse performance and continuously optimise for measurable commercial results.

You will work directly with the Founder/CEO and collaborate closely with Content, Sales, Procurement, Finance and Ecommerce Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Growth Strategy & Commercial Planning

• Develop annual, quarterly and monthly growth and marketing plans
• Translate business revenue targets into actionable growth strategies
• Identify opportunities across customer acquisition, ecommerce, live commerce and physical retail
• Analyse the customer journey and identify revenue leakage or growth opportunities
• Proactively bring recommendations, forecasts and action plans to Management

Performance Marketing & Customer Acquisition

• Own paid acquisition across Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads
• Be hands-on in campaign setup, optimisation and troubleshooting where required
• Develop acquisition, retargeting and creative testing strategies
• Manage marketing budget allocation based on commercial performance
• Monitor CAC, ROAS, MER, conversion and marketing contribution
• Manage and challenge agencies or external specialists where applicable

Omnichannel & Showroom Growth

• Develop strategies to increase qualified traffic to KCA
• Connect digital campaigns to showroom appointments, footfall and sales
• Build measurable online-to-offline customer journeys
• Develop local and geo-targeted acquisition strategies
• Support marketing strategy for future showroom and branch expansion

Ecommerce & Conversion Growth

• Analyse Shopify traffic, customer journeys and conversion performance
• Identify opportunities across product discovery, product pages and checkout
• Diagnose funnel leakage and recommend improvements
• Grow commercially attributable ecommerce revenue
• Work with Ecommerce Operations while maintaining clear commercial vs operational ownership

Live Commerce

• Own the commercial growth strategy for TikTok Live
• Develop traffic, product, campaign, promotional and conversion strategies
• Monitor viewers, product clicks, add-to-cart, checkout, conversion, AOV and revenue per live hour
• Diagnose whether performance issues originate from traffic, audience, host execution, product, offer, timing, stock or conversion
• Coordinate with Live Host, Content, Sales, Ecommerce Operations and Procurement

Campaign Management

• Own KCA’s annual, quarterly and monthly marketing campaign calendar
• Proactively develop campaign concepts instead of waiting for Management direction
• Lead campaigns from strategy through execution and post-campaign analysis
• Define objectives, target customers, products, offers, channels, budget and expected commercial outcomes
• Lead product launches, seasonal campaigns and retail activations

Brand, Trust & Reputation

• Translate KCA’s brand direction into effective market-facing strategies
• Grow brand awareness, credibility and customer trust
• Develop strategies around Google Reviews, testimonials, UGC, educational content and social proof
• Strengthen brand consistency across digital and physical customer touchpoints
• Identify relevant PR and brand-building opportunities

Major brand positioning and creative direction remain under the Founder/CEO.

Content Strategy & Performance

• Provide strategic and commercial direction to KCA’s existing content function
• Determine what content should be produced, for whom and for what business objective
• Analyse reach, retention, profile visits, clicks, enquiries and commercial outcomes
• Develop testing strategies for hooks, formats, messages, products and audiences
• Work closely with the Content Creator on execution

Google & Local Retail Growth

• Grow KCA’s visibility across Google Search, Maps and Google Business Profile
• Monitor search behaviour, local discovery, direction requests, calls and website actions
• Develop strategies to increase showroom discovery and footfall
• Monitor Google Reviews and customer sentiment
• Connect local digital performance to actual commercial outcomes

KOL, Partnerships & Collaborations

• Proactively identify relevant KOLs, creators, brands and strategic partners
• Evaluate opportunities based on audience fit, engagement quality, brand fit and commercial potential
• Develop and execute measurable collaboration strategies
• Track traffic, leads, sales and other relevant outcomes
• Conduct post-collaboration performance analysis

Events & Retail Activation

• Identify relevant wedding fairs, exhibitions, pop-ups and retail events
• Evaluate opportunities based on audience quality, cost, expected footfall, leads, sales and ROI
• Develop activation and lead-generation plans
• Coordinate execution with Sales, Procurement and Content
• Conduct post-event ROI analysis

Product & Merchandising Growth

• Analyse best sellers, slow movers, customer demand and category opportunities
• Identify potential product gaps based on market and customer data
• Recommend hero products, bundles, cross-sell and upsell opportunities
• Provide commercial input into campaign and showroom merchandising
• Work with the Founder/CEO on product direction and Procurement on sourcing and availability

Demand Forecasting & Stock Coordination

• Forecast product demand for campaigns, launches and Live Commerce
• Communicate expected demand and stock requirements to Procurement in advance
• Monitor stock readiness before major marketing investment
• Adjust commercial plans where stock availability creates risk

Marketing × Sales Alignment

• Monitor marketing-generated leads, lead quality and acquisition cost
• Work with Sales to understand downstream conversion and lost-sale reasons
• Analyse the funnel from traffic through revenue
• Identify whether performance gaps originate from Marketing, Sales conversion, stock or operations

Marketing generates demand. Sales owns consultation, follow-up and closing.

Analytics & Management Reporting

• Build and maintain clear growth dashboards
• Track the commercial funnel:

Spend → Traffic → Leads → Qualified Leads → Appointments → Sales → Revenue → Gross Profit

• Analyse performance by channel, campaign, product and customer journey
• Present actionable weekly and monthly insights to Management
• Recommend what to scale, improve, test or stop based on data

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

GROW DEMAND
Increase qualified traffic, customer acquisition, leads, appointments and marketing-generated showroom footfall.

GROW DIRECT REVENUE
Increase commercially attributable revenue across ecommerce, Live Commerce and other direct-commerce channels while maintaining healthy acquisition economics.

BUILD BRAND & TRUST
Strengthen KCA’s awareness, credibility, reputation and customer confidence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Approximately 3–10+ years of relevant Growth / Marketing experience; proven results matter more than years alone
• Proven track record of measurable customer acquisition, revenue or commercial growth
• Strong hands-on understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads
• Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, MER, conversion and attribution
• Experience managing meaningful marketing budgets
• Ecommerce / Shopify experience
• Strong analytical and commercial problem-solving capability
• Retail / omnichannel experience is highly advantageous
• TikTok Shop and Live Commerce experience is highly advantageous
• Experience in jewellery, fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle, D2C or consumer retail is advantageous
• Experience with KOLs, partnerships, collaborations and events
• Able to lead while remaining hands-on in execution

WHO WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE?

You are likely to thrive at KCA if you:

• Think commercially, not just creatively
• Understand both BRAND and NUMBERS
• Diagnose before recommending solutions
• Are comfortable working in a lean team
• Can move between strategy and hands-on execution
• Take ownership without waiting for the Founder to provide every idea
• Use data to challenge assumptions
• Can turn insights into clear actions
• Are motivated by measurable business growth

We are not looking for someone whose primary measure of marketing success is followers, likes or views.

We are looking for someone who can answer:
